Sunward Sunizine 10mg Tablet contains Cetirizine 10mg, a second-generation, non-sedating (or low-sedating) antihistamine used to relieve symptoms of allergies. It helps relieve sneezing, runny or itchy nose, itchy and watery eyes, and itchy skin associated with conditions such as allergic rhinitis (hay fever), seasonal allergies, and hives (urticaria).

This tablet is available over the counter in Malaysia without a doctor’s prescription for adults and adolescents within the age range stated on the packaging. It is intended for the relief of typical allergy symptoms; if symptoms are severe, do not improve with regular use, or are accompanied by breathing difficulty or facial swelling, a doctor should be consulted promptly.

Cetirizine works by blocking histamine H1 receptors throughout the body. Histamine is released during an allergic reaction and is responsible for triggering symptoms such as itching, sneezing, and a runny or blocked nose; by blocking its action at these receptor sites, Sunward Sunizine 10mg Tablet reduces these allergy symptoms, generally with a low tendency to cause the drowsiness associated with older, first-generation antihistamines.
