Perskindol Refreshing Spray

Perskindol Refreshing Spray is a fast-drying topical spray formulated with Menthol, Levomenthol, Eucalyptus Oil, Pine Needle Oil, Wintergreen Leaf Oil, Orange Terpenes, Ethanol, and Isopropyl Alcohol, delivered as a fine, alcohol-based mist for external application to the skin.

It is classified as an OTC (Over-the-Counter) topical spray, so it does not require a doctor’s prescription and can be purchased directly from a pharmacy, and it comes in a 150ml spray bottle designed for quick, targeted application without needing to rub the product in by hand.

The combination of dual menthol forms (Menthol and Levomenthol) with essential oils and a fast-evaporating alcohol base gives the spray a light, non-sticky finish that dries quickly on the skin, distinguishing it from oil- or gel-based liniments, and it is part of the internationally recognised Swiss Perskindol topical care range that is also sold in Malaysia and Singapore.

Shake the bottle well before use, then hold it upright about 5-10cm away from clean, intact skin and spray a light, even mist over the area, avoiding excessive over-spraying. Allow the spray to air-dry for a few moments before covering the area with clothing. It is for external use only and must not be sprayed near the eyes, nose, mouth, broken skin, or other mucous membranes, and should be used in a well-ventilated area given its alcohol content.

Perskindol Refreshing Spray is a topical spray and not an oral medicine, so a fixed oral dose does not apply. As a general guide, it may be sprayed onto the affected area up to 3-4 times a day, or as directed on the product label, without exceeding the frequency stated on the packaging. If there is no improvement after several days of regular use, or if the area becomes more irritated or painful, stop use and consult a pharmacist or doctor.

Use Perskindol Refreshing Spray before the expiry date printed on the bottle and outer packaging. Once opened, use the product within the timeframe stated on the label, as the volatile alcohol and essential oil components may evaporate and lose potency more quickly once the spray nozzle has been used repeatedly.

Store Perskindol Refreshing Spray at room temperature below 25-30°C, away from direct sunlight and heat sources, and keep the spray nozzle capped when not in use. As the product contains flammable alcohol, do not store or use it near an open flame, lit cigarette, or other ignition source, and keep the bottle out of the reach and sight of children.

• Known hypersensitivity or allergy to menthol, levomenthol, eucalyptus oil, pine needle oil, wintergreen leaf oil, orange terpenes, or alcohol.
• Application to broken, cut, or infected skin, open wounds, sunburned skin, or areas of severe irritation.
• Spraying near or into the eyes, inside the nose or mouth, or on other mucous membranes.
• Use in a poorly ventilated space or near an open flame or heat source, due to the flammable alcohol content.
• Oral ingestion of the product, as it is formulated for external use only.

• No clinically significant drug or food interactions are expected with normal external use of Perskindol Refreshing Spray, as it is applied to the skin rather than taken by mouth.
• Avoid spraying this product onto the same area at the same time as other topical medicated products containing wintergreen oil or methyl salicylate-type ingredients, as this may increase the risk of skin irritation or excessive absorption.
• Avoid using a heating pad or hot compress on the treated area shortly after spraying, as heat may increase skin absorption and irritation.

• Shake the bottle before each use to ensure the ingredients are evenly mixed.
• Spray in a well-ventilated area, especially indoors, due to the alcohol content.
• Hold the bottle at the recommended distance to avoid an overly concentrated application on one spot.
• Allow the spray to dry fully before putting on tight clothing or compression wear.
• Keep the nozzle clean and capped between uses to prevent clogging or leakage.
• Avoid use immediately before activities involving open flame or ignition sources nearby.

Precautions: Use Perskindol Refreshing Spray only on intact skin, in a well-ventilated area, and avoid spraying near the eyes, nose, mouth, or open flames given its alcohol content. Pregnant or breastfeeding women, individuals with known fragrance or alcohol sensitivities, and those with broken or sunburned skin should check with a pharmacist before use. Do not use the spray together with a heating pad, or immediately before activities involving naked flames or sparks.

When to See a Doctor or Pharmacist: Stop using the product and seek medical advice if you experience a skin rash, blistering, persistent irritation, or breathing difficulty after use, or if the spray accidentally contacts your eyes and irritation does not settle after rinsing with water. Speak with a pharmacist if there is no improvement after several days of regular use.
