Sedilix-Rx Linctus is a prescription-only combination cough and cold linctus formulated around promethazine, a first-generation sedating antihistamine with cough-suppressant, drying, and calming properties. It is used to relieve cough and associated allergy-type symptoms, such as a runny nose and sneezing, that commonly accompany colds and upper respiratory tract infections.
