Allersine Eye Drop

Allersine Eye Drop belongs to the antihistamine drug class and contains the active ingredient Olopatadine. While generally well tolerated, some people may experience temporary side effects like eye irritation, redness, blurred vision, or a mild burning sensation after use. Tilt your head back slightly, gently pull down your lower eyelid, and squeeze one drop into the eye as directed by your doctor.

The usual recommended dose is one drop in the affected eye(s) twice a day, typically every 8 to 12 hours, or as advised by your healthcare provider.

Allersine Eye Drop generally has a shelf life of 24 months from the date of manufacture. Always check the packaging for the expiry date before use.

Store in a cool, dry place below 25°C. Keep the bottle tightly closed when not in use and out of reach of children. Do not freeze.

Do not use Allersine Eye Drop if you are allergic to Olopatadine or any other ingredients in the formulation. It should be avoided in patients with known hypersensitivity reactions to antihistamines. Consult your doctor before use if you wear contact lenses or have eye infections.

Though it’s applied directly to the eye, always inform your doctor about other medications you’re using, especially other eye drops. There are no known significant food interactions, but you should avoid contaminating the dropper tip, particularly after handling food.
