Overview

Arcoxia 90mg Tablet is a prescription-only medicine (POM) presented as a tablet, with Etoricoxib 90mg as its active ingredient content.

This page is limited to product, safety and handling information, in line with Malaysian rules on prescription medicine information for the public. Your prescriber or pharmacist is the right source for anything beyond that, together with the leaflet inside the pack.

Through DoctorOnCall, this product is supplied after an online consultation with a licensed doctor and a valid prescription, and it is checked by a registered pharmacist before dispensing. Take it exactly as prescribed, and speak to your doctor before stopping, changing the dose, or starting any other medicine alongside it.

Directions for Use

Take Arcoxia 90mg Tablet exactly as prescribed by your doctor, once daily, with or without food, and swallow the tablet whole with a glass of water. Do not take a higher dose or use it for longer than prescribed, as the risk of side effects, including cardiovascular effects, may increase with higher doses or prolonged use.

Dosage

The dose and duration of treatment are determined by the prescribing doctor according to the specific condition being treated; 90mg once daily is a common dose for chronic conditions such as osteoarthritis and rheumatoid arthritis, while acute gout may be treated with a higher dose for a limited period. Always use the lowest effective dose for the shortest duration necessary, as advised by your doctor.
