Overview

Clamentin 625mg Tablet contains Amoxicillin 500mg (as trihydrate) and Clavulanic acid 125mg (as potassium clavulanate) and is available as a tablet. It is classified as a prescription medicine and may only be obtained with a valid prescription from a registered medical practitioner.

Only product, safety and handling information is published here. Anything beyond that is explained to you directly by your doctor or pharmacist as part of your consultation.

DoctorOnCall is a licensed online pharmacy. Orders for Clamentin 625mg Tablet are processed only after a doctor has assessed your suitability and issued a prescription, and every order is checked by a registered pharmacist before it is sent out.

Directions for Use

Take Clamentin 625mg Tablet at the start of a meal to reduce the chance of stomach upset, swallowing the tablet whole with a glass of water. Try to space doses evenly through the day and complete the entire course exactly as prescribed, even if your symptoms improve, to reduce the risk of the infection returning or antibiotic resistance developing.

Dosage

The usual adult dose of Clamentin 625mg Tablet is one tablet (amoxicillin 500mg/clavulanic acid 125mg) taken two to three times daily, depending on the severity and type of infection being treated. Your doctor will determine the exact dose, frequency, and duration of treatment for your condition, and it is important to complete the full course even if you feel better before finishing it.

Storage Instructions

Store below 30°C in a dry place, away from direct sunlight and out of reach of children.
