Directions for Use

Dry the affected area gently with a clean cotton swab or tissue before applying a small amount of Dexaltin 1mg/g Oral Paste directly onto the ulcer, without rubbing it in. It is best applied at bedtime and after meals for longer contact time with the ulcer, and hands should be washed before and after application unless a cotton applicator is used.

Dosage

A thin layer of Dexaltin 1mg/g Oral Paste is usually applied to the affected area two to three times a day, or as directed on the packaging, continuing until the ulcer has healed. Do not use more than the recommended amount or for longer than advised, as prolonged use of topical corticosteroids in the mouth is not recommended without medical supervision.

Shelf Life

Dexaltin 1mg/g Oral Paste should be used within the shelf life stated on the tube or carton when stored under the recommended conditions. Do not use the paste after the expiry date, and discard any unused or expired product safely.

Storage Instructions

Store Dexaltin 1mg/g Oral Paste in a cool, dry place below 30°C, away from direct sunlight. Keep the tube tightly capped after use and store it out of the sight and reach of children.
