Esentiel Epsom Salts Granule

Esentiel Epsom Salts Granule is a food-grade magnesium sulfate BP preparation supplied as coarse, unscented white granules. It is packed for household use as a bath and foot-soak salt and is sold in Malaysia in a 375g resealable pack, with larger multi-kilogram packs also available under the same brand.

Esentiel Epsom Salts Granule is categorised as an over-the-counter (OTC) personal care and wellness product rather than a prescription medicine, and it can be purchased directly without a doctor’s order. Magnesium sulfate is a well-established mineral compound that appears in different pharmaceutical presentations, including oral saline-laxative formulations and topical soak preparations; this particular granule pack is formulated and labelled specifically for external bath and foot-soak use.

Compared with scented or dye-added bath salts, Esentiel Epsom Salts Granule is presented as a plain, additive-free magnesium sulfate granule, which some customers prefer for sensitive skin. The granules dissolve readily in warm water, and the product is intended to be added to a basin or bathtub rather than taken by mouth.

• Dissolve 2 to 4 tablespoons (about half a cup) of Esentiel Epsom Salts Granule in a basin or bath of warm water until the granules are fully dissolved.
• Soak the hands, feet, or body in the solution for 15 to 20 minutes.
• Rinse the skin with plain water after soaking and pat the skin dry with a clean towel.
• Discard the used soak water after each session — do not reuse the same dissolved solution for a later soak.

This product is intended for external bath and foot-soak use rather than for a measured internal dose. Use 2 to 4 tablespoons of granules per soak as described in Directions for Use, and do not increase the concentration beyond what is comfortable for the skin.

This granule pack is not labelled for oral consumption. If an oral saline-laxative product is what you are looking for, check the specific product label for that preparation and confirm the correct oral dose with a pharmacist, since oral dosing is not covered by this bath/foot-soak product.

Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and moisture, in the original resealable pack, and keep out of reach of children.

• Avoid use if you have a known hypersensitivity to magnesium sulfate or any component of the product.
• People with significant kidney impairment should check with a doctor or pharmacist before regular use, as magnesium can accumulate when kidney function is reduced.

• No clinically significant drug interactions have been identified for magnesium sulfate used externally as a bath or foot soak, since it is not intended to be absorbed systemically in meaningful amounts through intact skin.
• If the granules are accidentally swallowed, magnesium sulfate may add to the effect of other laxatives or magnesium-containing antacids and supplements taken at the same time.
• No specific food interactions are known for external bath/foot-soak use.

• Use warm, not hot, water so the granules dissolve fully before soaking.
• Check the water temperature first if you have diabetes or reduced sensation in the feet.
• Pat the skin dry rather than rubbing it after a soak to reduce irritation.
• Keep the pack tightly resealed between uses so the granules do not absorb moisture and clump.
• Try a small patch test on one area of skin first if you have never used Epsom salt before and have sensitive skin.
• Keep the product out of reach of children, as the granules can look similar to table salt or sugar.
