Overview

Euderm 10% Cream contains materials and components and is presented as a cream. It is supplied in a pack size of 45g.

It is classified as an over-the-counter (OTC) medicine, so no prescription is needed to order it. Under Malaysian rules for medicine information, this page carries product, safety and handling information only.

You can consult a doctor or pharmacist online on DoctorOnCall about this product before or after you order. Every order is checked by a registered pharmacist before it is delivered. Always read the label and the leaflet supplied with the pack.

Directions for Use

Clean and dry the area of skin to be treated. Squeeze a small amount of cream from the tube and apply a thin, even layer over the affected area, massaging gently until absorbed. Wash your hands afterwards unless the hands are the area being treated. Avoid the eyes, lips, and other mucous membranes, and do not apply to broken, infected, or weeping skin.

Dosage

Apply a small amount of Euderm 10% Cream to the affected area 1 to 2 times daily, or as directed by a pharmacist or doctor. This is a topical-only product with no oral dose. Do not increase the frequency of application beyond what is stated on the packaging without professional advice.

Storage Instructions

Store below 30°C in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Keep the tube cap tightly closed between uses and keep out of reach of children.

Side Effects

  • Common: Mild stinging or tingling sensation on application, especially on irritated or broken skin.
  • Common: Temporary redness at the application site.
  • Serious: Signs of an allergic skin reaction such as widespread rash, swelling, or blistering, which require the cream to be stopped and medical advice sought.

Contraindications

  • Known hypersensitivity or allergy to urea or to any other ingredient in Euderm 10% Cream.
  • Not for use on broken, infected, or actively weeping skin unless directed by a healthcare professional.

Drug / Food Interactions

  • No clinically significant drug or food interactions are known for topical urea cream, as it is applied to the skin rather than taken by mouth.
  • If using other topical products on the same area, leave a gap of several hours between applications where possible and check with a pharmacist on the recommended order.

Quick Tips

  • Apply to clean, dry skin for even absorption.
  • Use only a small amount at a time; a thin layer is enough to cover the affected area.
  • Recap the tube tightly after each use to prevent the cream from drying out.
  • Test on a small area first if trying the product for the first time on sensitive skin.
  • Keep the tube away from direct heat or sunlight, such as on a car dashboard or windowsill.
  • Reapply after washing the treated area, as water exposure reduces how long a single application lasts.

Relevant Information

Precautions: Euderm 10% Cream is for external use on intact skin only. Avoid contact with the eyes, lips, and inside of the nose or mouth, rinsing thoroughly with water if this occurs accidentally. Use cautiously on broken, cracked, or infected skin, and avoid use in young children unless advised by a doctor or pharmacist. Safety data in pregnancy and breastfeeding is limited, so those who are pregnant or breastfeeding should seek professional advice before regular use.

When to See a Doctor or Pharmacist: Stop using the cream and seek medical advice if a rash, swelling, blistering, or worsening irritation develops. See a doctor if the treated area does not improve after regular use, becomes painful, or shows signs of infection such as increasing redness, warmth, or discharge.
