Overview

Eye Glo Plus is supplied as a healthcare product, with Distilled Witch Hazel 5% w/v. It is supplied in a pack size of 10ml.

No prescription is required for this product, as it is an over-the-counter (OTC) medicine. This page is limited to product, safety and handling information.

If you would like guidance before buying, you can speak to a doctor or pharmacist through an online consultation on DoctorOnCall. Orders are dispensed by a registered pharmacist and delivered to your address.

Directions for Use

Wash your hands thoroughly before use. Tilt the head back, gently pull down the lower eyelid to form a small pocket, and instil 2 to 3 drops without letting the dropper tip touch the eye, eyelashes, or any surface. Blink gently to spread the solution. Remove soft contact lenses before use, as Eye Glo Plus is not suitable for use with them, and reinsert only after the eye has fully absorbed the drop. Close the cap tightly immediately after use.

Dosage

The typical adult dosing as directed on the product label is 2 to 3 drops instilled into each eye, 3 to 4 times daily or as needed, without exceeding the frequency stated on the packaging. No separate paediatric dose is established; use in children should be discussed with a pharmacist first.

Storage Instructions

Store below 25°C in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and out of reach of children. Keep the bottle tightly closed when not in use.

  • Temporary blurred vision after application
  • Mild eye irritation or stinging

Drug / Food Interactions

  • No clinically significant drug or food interactions are known for this topical eye product.
  • If more than one type of eye drop is being used, space the different products at least 5 to 10 minutes apart.

Quick Tips

  • Wash your hands before every instillation to reduce contamination risk.
  • Never let the dropper tip touch the eye, eyelid, fingers, or any surface.
  • Remove soft contact lenses before use — Eye Glo Plus is not labelled as contact-lens compatible.
  • Keep the bottle tightly closed between uses, away from direct sunlight.
