Overview

Eye Glo Relief is supplied as a healthcare product, with Zinc Sulphate 0.25% w/v. It is supplied in a pack size of 10ml.

No prescription is required for this product, as it is an over-the-counter (OTC) medicine. This page is limited to product, safety and handling information.

If you would like guidance before buying, you can speak to a doctor or pharmacist through an online consultation on DoctorOnCall. Orders are dispensed by a registered pharmacist and delivered to your address.

Directions for Use

Wash your hands thoroughly before use. Tilt the head back, gently pull down the lower eyelid to form a small pocket, and instil 1 to 2 drops into the pocket without letting the dropper tip touch the eye, eyelashes, or any other surface. Close the eye gently for 1 to 2 minutes after instillation. If wearing soft contact lenses, remove them before use and wait at least 15 minutes before reinserting. Replace the bottle cap tightly immediately after use.

Dosage

The typical adult dosing for Eye Glo Relief, as directed on the product label, is 1 to 2 drops instilled into the affected eye(s), repeated as needed, without exceeding the frequency stated on the packaging. There is no separate paediatric dosing established for this product; use in children should only be under the guidance of a pharmacist or doctor.

Storage Instructions

Store below 25°C in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and out of reach of children. Keep the bottle tightly closed when not in use.

Side Effects

  • Temporary blurred vision after application
  • Mild eye irritation or stinging

Drug / Food Interactions

  • No clinically significant drug or food interactions are known for this topical eye product.
  • If more than one type of eye drop is being used, space the different products at least 5 to 10 minutes apart to avoid one drop washing out the other.

Quick Tips

  • Wash your hands before every instillation to reduce the risk of contaminating the dropper tip.
  • Never let the dropper tip touch the eye, eyelid, fingers, or any surface.
  • Remove soft contact lenses before use and wait at least 15 minutes before reinserting them.
  • Keep the bottle cap tightly closed between uses and store it away from direct sunlight.
  • Write the date of first opening on the bottle label so you know when the 4-week discard point falls.
  • Stop use and check with a pharmacist if redness, discomfort, or irritation persists beyond a few days.
