Apply a small amount of Hovid Ultimax Cream to the affected muscle or joint area and gently massage it in until absorbed. Use 3 to 4 times a day, or as needed. Wash your hands thoroughly after application to avoid accidentally transferring the cream to the eyes or other sensitive areas. Do not apply to broken, irritated, or sunburnt skin, and do not use with bandages, heating pads, or other occlusive dressings over the treated area.

Not applicable in the sense of an oral dose — Hovid Ultimax Cream is for external, topical use only and must never be swallowed. A small amount is applied to the affected area 3 to 4 times daily, or as needed, up to a maximum of about 4 applications per day unless otherwise directed by a doctor or pharmacist.

Store below 30°C in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and open flame, as the product contains volatile aromatic oils. Keep the tube tightly closed after use and store out of reach of children.

• Known hypersensitivity or allergy to salicylates (including aspirin), menthol, eucalyptus oil, or any other ingredient in the cream.
• Not for use on broken, wounded, infected, or sunburnt skin.
• Avoid contact with the eyes, mouth, nose, or other mucous membranes.
• Not for use together with heating pads, hot water bottles, or other external heat sources, due to increased risk of skin burns.
• Use with caution, and only on medical advice, in children under 12 years old.

• Avoid applying other topical products containing salicylates, NSAIDs, or additional counter-irritants (such as other muscle rub creams) to the same area at the same time, as this may increase skin irritation and the amount of salicylate absorbed.
• Patients taking oral anticoagulants (such as warfarin) or with a known aspirin/salicylate sensitivity should check with a pharmacist or doctor before extensive or prolonged use, as absorbed methyl salicylate could theoretically add to bleeding risk or trigger a salicylate-sensitive reaction.
• Do not use with heating pads or occlusive dressings, as this increases systemic absorption and the risk of skin burns.
• No specific food interactions are known for this topical-only product.

• Apply only a thin layer and massage gently — using more product does not increase the effect and can increase the risk of irritation.
• Wash your hands immediately after application to avoid transferring the cream to your eyes or face.
• Never use with a heating pad, hot compress, or tight bandage over the treated area, as this can cause burns.
• Allow at least a few minutes for the cream to absorb before dressing or covering the area with clothing.
• Stop use and rinse the area with water if you experience excessive burning, blistering, or a rash.
• Keep the cream away from children and pets, and store it tightly closed away from heat sources.

Precautions: Hovid Ultimax Cream should be used only on intact skin and strictly as directed. Avoid applying it to broken, wounded, or sunburnt skin, and never combine it with heating pads or hot compresses. Pregnant or breastfeeding women, and those with known salicylate or aspirin sensitivity, should seek pharmacist or doctor advice before use. Keep away from the eyes and other mucous membranes at all times.

When to See a Doctor or Pharmacist: Speak to a doctor or pharmacist if pain persists or worsens after several days of regular use, if you notice signs of an allergic reaction such as blistering, swelling, or widespread rash, or if you experience symptoms such as ringing in the ears, nausea, or dizziness after use, which may indicate excessive salicylate absorption requiring prompt medical attention.
