Directions for Use

Maxitrol Eye Drop should only be used exactly as prescribed by your doctor following an online consultation. Wash your hands, tilt your head back, gently pull down the lower eyelid to form a small pocket, and instil the prescribed number of drops into the pocket without letting the dropper tip touch the eye, eyelid, or any surface. Close your eyes gently for one to two minutes and apply light pressure at the inner corner of the eye to reduce drainage into the tear duct.

Dosage

The usual prescribed dose is 1 to 2 drops instilled into the affected eye(s) every 4 to 6 hours, or as directed by your prescribing doctor, with treatment duration typically limited to a short course to reduce the risk of steroid-related side effects. If more than one type of eye drop is prescribed, wait at least 5 minutes between different products, and do not use more often or for longer than prescribed.

Shelf Life
