Nur Care Alcohol Swabs

Nur Care Alcohol Swabs are single-use antiseptic wipes saturated with 70% isopropyl alcohol, supplied 100 pieces per box, individually and air-tightly sealed for hygiene. They are sold in Malaysia as an over-the-counter medical consumable/device rather than a prescription medicine, intended for external application to the skin surface or to small surfaces or device components where appropriate.

Each swab is designed for single use and then discarded. The product is Halal-certified and packaged with an air-tight, four-corner seal to keep the alcohol content stable until the sachet is opened.

Isopropyl alcohol at a 70% concentration acts as an antiseptic by disrupting the outer membrane and structure of many common bacteria and other microorganisms on the skin surface. It acts through direct chemical contact rather than being absorbed into the body, so its effect is limited to the surface it is wiped over.

Tear open one sachet immediately before use. Wipe the swab firmly over the intended area of skin in one direction, or as instructed by a healthcare professional, and allow the area to air-dry briefly before proceeding. Discard the used swab after a single use; do not save it for later use.

Not applicable in the sense of a medicine dose – use one swab per single application or per site, and discard after use. Do not reuse a swab once opened, and do not use it directly on broken skin, open wounds, or mucous membranes unless directed by a healthcare professional.

Use before the expiry date printed on the box or individual sachet. Once a sachet is opened, use the swab immediately, as the alcohol content can evaporate quickly once exposed to air.

Store below 30°C, in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and open flame, as the product is alcohol-based and flammable. Keep unopened sachets in their original box until ready to use, and keep out of reach of young children.

• Common: Mild, temporary skin dryness or a stinging sensation, especially on broken or sensitive skin.
• Common: Slight redness at the site of application in people with sensitive skin.
• Serious: Signs of an allergic skin reaction, such as significant rash, swelling, or blistering, which should be assessed by a doctor or pharmacist if they occur.

• Not for use in or near the eyes, as contact with isopropyl alcohol may cause serious eye injury, including a risk of blindness.
• Not recommended for people with known sensitive skin, eczema, or other active dermatitis, as it may worsen dryness or irritation.
• Not for internal use or use on mucous membranes unless specifically directed by a healthcare professional.

• Not applicable in the usual medicine-interaction sense, as this product is for external skin antisepsis only and is not swallowed or absorbed systemically in normal use.
• Avoid using alongside other skin products at the exact same site at the same time without checking compatibility, as combining multiple topical products may increase the risk of irritation.
• Keep away from open flame or heat sources during and after use, as isopropyl alcohol is flammable.

• Use one swab per site and discard immediately after use – never reuse a swab.
• Let the skin air-dry for a few seconds after wiping.
• Keep swabs away from the eyes and mucous membranes.
• Store the box below 30°C and away from direct sunlight or flame.
• Do a small patch test first if you have known sensitive skin.
• Keep out of reach of young children, as the sachets contain flammable alcohol.

It is not recommended for people with sensitive skin or eczema, as it may lead to increased dryness or irritation, and it should not be used on broken skin or open wounds unless a healthcare professional has advised it.
