Which strength should I choose?

  • Your doctor selects the appropriate strength based on your health, other medicines and individual response.
  • Priligy is available in two strengths, 30mg and 60mg. Your doctor will determine which option is suitable for you.
  • Take it as a single dose when needed, and do not exceed one tablet per day.
  • Do not change your strength or dosing frequency without consulting your doctor, as higher doses may increase the risk of side effects.

Side effects, safety and when to seek help

  • As with all medicines, Priligy may cause side effects in some people. Fainting is one of them, and it can affect your ability to concentrate and drive.
  • Do not drink alcohol with Priligy, as it may increase the risk of neurocognitive and neurocardiogenic side effects.
  • Some medicines interact with dapoxetine, including CYP2D6 inhibitors such as fluoxetine and paroxetine. Never combine Priligy with antidepressants or other medicines that affect serotonin unless your doctor has told you to. Tell your doctor about all medicines and supplements you take.
