Propax Gauze Roll (90cm x 5m)

Propax Gauze Roll (90cm x 5m) is a soft, breathable roll of 100% cotton medical-grade gauze supplied as a single 90cm-wide by 5m-long roll, from which pieces can be cut to size as needed.

As a bulk roll rather than an individually wrapped item, Propax Gauze Roll is supplied non-sterile, unlike a certified sterile gauze swab or dressing product.

The open-weave 100% cotton construction of Propax Gauze Roll allows the fabric to be soft, breathable, and conforming, so it can be wrapped around a limb or joint to hold a dressing in place without restricting circulation when applied correctly. Its absorbent cotton fibres also absorb light moisture or perspiration, while the roll format lets the user cut only as much length as is needed for each use.

Wash your hands before use. Unroll the required length of gauze and cut it with clean scissors. If it will be placed directly over an open wound, first apply a certified sterile dressing or swab to the wound itself, then use the gauze roll to pad and secure it in place by wrapping snugly but not too tightly. Discard any used or soiled portion of gauze after use; do not reuse gauze that has been in contact with a wound.

Propax Gauze Roll is a cotton fabric product rather than a medicine, so it does not carry a pharmaceutical expiry date. It remains fit for use as long as the packaging is intact and the roll has been kept clean and dry; check the pack for any printed best-before information.

Store in a clean, dry place away from direct sunlight and moisture, at normal room temperature. Keep the roll in its original packaging when not in use, and avoid handling the unused portion with unwashed hands.
