The GD101 functions by inflating the cuff around your upper arm using a built-in palm bulb. As the cuff inflates, it temporarily stops blood flow, allowing the device to capture systolic and diastolic pressure through auscultation using a stethoscope. The needle gauge displays your readings clearly and accurately, providing fast and dependable results every time.

1. Wrap the cuff snugly around your upper arm, just above the elbow.
2. Ensure you are seated comfortably with your arm supported.
3. Inflate the cuff by squeezing the palm bulb until the gauge shows ~30mmHg above your normal systolic pressure.
4. Use a stethoscope to listen to the heartbeat while slowly releasing air from the cuff.
5. Note the pressure readings when you first hear the heartbeat (systolic) and when the sound disappears (diastolic).
6. Record your reading and deflate the cuff completely after use.
