Overview

Sunward Sunquadin Lozenges is an orange-flavoured oral lozenge containing dequalinium chloride at 0.25 mg per lozenge. It is a solid dosage form designed to dissolve slowly in the mouth rather than being swallowed whole as a conventional tablet. The active ingredient and strength should always be checked against the current product label before use.

This product is suitable for adults according to the dosing information available for this formulation. Children should only receive it when the current label provides an appropriate age-specific direction or after advice from a doctor or pharmacist. People with known sensitivity to dequalinium chloride or any ingredient should check the full composition before use.

Directions for Use

Adults: one lozenge slowly every 2–3 hours as required. Follow the product instructions for the route and timing, and use an appropriate measuring or dosing method. Do not exceed the stated pack instructions, and do not double a missed dose.

Dosage

Adults: one lozenge slowly every 2–3 hours as required. Follow the current pack frequency and do not double a missed dose. If the dose is missed, continue with the next appropriate dose rather than doubling it. Seek pharmacist or doctor advice when the label does not provide a complete age-specific regimen.

Storage Instructions

Store Sunward Sunquadin Lozenges below 30°C, in the original packaging and out of reach of children. Keep the pack closed between uses and protect it from contamination.

  • Check the strength and expiry date before repeated dosing.
  • Allow an oral lozenge or troche to dissolve slowly rather than chewing it unless the label states otherwise.
  • Do not share the product or a used dosing device.

  • Ask a pharmacist before repeated use during pregnancy or breastfeeding.
