Unigloves Non-Woven Swab 5×5

Unigloves Non-Woven Swab 5×5 is a soft, lint-free non-woven swab made from a non-woven viscose and polyester blend fabric, cut to a convenient 5cm x 5cm size. Each pack contains 100 individual swabs that are free from harmful chemicals or adhesives.

Unlike traditional woven cotton gauze, the non-woven fabric construction means these swabs shed less lint and loose fibre compared with woven cotton gauze. The swabs are supplied non-sterile, unlike a certified sterile dressing product.

The non-woven fabric used in Unigloves Non-Woven Swab 5×5 is made by bonding fibres together rather than weaving them into threads, which gives the swab a soft, absorbent surface with minimal fibre shedding. This structure allows the swab to soak up fluids, cleansing solutions, or debris efficiently while reducing the risk of loose lint sticking to a wound bed or skin surface, a common drawback of traditional woven cotton gauze.

Wash your hands before use. Take one swab from the pack and use it to gently clean the skin or wound area, or to apply a topical solution as directed by a doctor or pharmacist. Use each swab once and discard it after use; do not reuse a swab on the same or a different area, and do not share swabs between people. If a sterile field is specifically required, such as for dressing an open wound, use a certified sterile swab or gauze product instead.

As long as the pack seal remains intact and the swabs are stored in clean, dry conditions, they remain fit for use; check the packaging for any printed best-before or batch information.

Store in a clean, dry place away from direct sunlight and moisture, at normal room temperature. Keep the pack sealed until use to protect the swabs from dust and contamination, and reseal or use up any opened pack promptly.
