How To Use Anarex Tablet

This medicine is for oral use only. Swallow this medication as a whole with water. Do not chew, crush or break it. It is better to take this medication at a fixed time each day if it is indicated for everyday use.
Precautionary Steps of Anarex Tablet

Please consult a doctor especially before taking Anarex. If you have any of the following conditions & contraindications:-

  • Glaucoma
  • Allergy to Anarex or any of its components
  • Liver Disease
  • Asthma or other breathing problems
  • It is not recommended for children & Neonates. Please keep it out of reach from them
  • Hypersensitivity
  • Breastfeeding

Please stop using this medication if you are experiencing these symptoms and conditions.

 
Anarex Drug Interactions

Drug to drug interaction reaction of Anarex varies from a person to another person. Please consult with your doctor about all the possible drug interactions prior to consuming this medication.
  • Prilocaine

Alcohol Warning (Not Advisable)
Patients should avoid consuming alcohol while on Anarex Tablet because alcohol may enhance the CNS depressant effect of Orphenadrine.It is safe to consume alcohol in small amount while taking Anarex Tablet. Large quantities of alcohol may increase the risk of liver side effects.It is safe to consume alcohol in small amount while taking Anarex Tablet. Pregnancy Warning (Not Safe)
Anarex Tablet should only be given to a pregnant woman if it is clearly needed and its potential benefits outweigh its potential risks. Breastfeeding Warning (Limited Data)

Driving Warning (Not Advisable)

Orphenadrine has been used for more than 50 years and has not been linked to any liver injury or liver diseases. 1. What should I do when I missed a dose of Anarex?

If you have missed a dose by chance, try to consume it as soon as possible when you notice. If the time to your next dosage is close, simply skip the medicine. In such cases, try to not double the dosage. 


2. I  think I have accidentally overdosed from the prescribed quantity of Anarex. Do I need to see a doctor?

If you feel that you might have used more than the prescribed quantity of Anarex, please talk to a physician immediately as overdosage more than the prescribed quantity might lead to undesirable side-effects. 


3. Am I allowed to drink alcohol after taking Anarex?

Consumption of alcohol is not recommended with Anarex. The resulting interaction between this medication with alcohol may cause excessive drowsiness and calmness and also it might raise the risk of side effects occurrence. In any case, do not consume more than 90 mL a day.


4. Will the consumption of Anarex affect the child that I am bearing?

7. What should I do if I mistakenly took an expired dose of Anarex?

Consuming an expired dose of Anarex by accident might not be harmful but do consult your physician for advice just to be safe in this matter. 


8. Can you explain on the safety of the usage of  Anarex?

Anarex is safe to use if taken in the prescribed dosage as suggested by the physician.


9. Do I have to gradually reduce the dosage of Anarex or can it be stopped abruptly? 
There are some drugs that cannot be stopped immediately as it can have some withdrawal symptoms. Consult with your doctor regarding the usage of the medication as well as withdrawal symptoms, if any.

10. In a day, how many times should I take Anarex?

The dosage and frequency of Anarex is based on your condition.  Use the drug as instructed by your doctor. You can also follow the instruction that has been printed on the product insert.
