Atozet 10/20mg consist of ezetimibe and atorvastatin calcium.Both ingredients work together harmoniously to get you the best results possible. 

Ezetimibe comes in the form of a white, crystalline powder that is practically insoluble in water but freely soluble in ethanol, methanol, and acetone. Calcium atorvastatin is another powerful element within Atozet 10/20mg that has a molecular weight of 1209.36 and is white or nearly white in color powder form which is soluble enough for maximum effectiveness.

Precautionary Steps of Atozet 10/20mg Tablet 30s

Please consult a doctor especially before taking Atozet. If you have any of the following conditions & contraindications:-
  • Allergy to Atozet or any of its components
  • Acute Liver Disease
  • Hypersensitivity
  • unexplained persistent serum transaminases elevation. 
  • Pregnancy 
  • Lactation
  • Myopathy 
  • Jaundice
  • Recent stroke or transient ischemic attack
  • Substantial alcohol consumption &/or history of liver disease.  
  • moderate to severe hepatic impairment

Please stop using this medication if you are experiencing these symptoms and conditions.

 
Atozet Drug Interactions

Drug to drug interaction reaction of Atozet varies from a person to another person. It is advisable to check with your doctor about all the possible drug interactions before starting the medication.
  • Clarithromycin
  • HIV & hepatitis C protease inhibitors
  • Itraconazole
  • grapefruit juice (>1.2 L daily)
  • Cyclosporine
  • Gemfibrozil
  • Fenofibrate
  • fusidic acid
  • Niacin
  • Colchicine
  • Cholestyramine
  • Fibrates
  • breast cancer resistant protein (BCRP) inhibitors (eg, elbasvir, grazoprevir)
  • Efavirenz

  • Oral Contraceptives (eg, norethindrone & ethinyl estradiol)

Alcohol Warning (Not Advisable)
It is unsafe to consume alcohol with Atozet 10/20mg Tablet 30s. You may experience headache, dizziness, lightheadedness and nausea. Please consult your doctor for more details. It is safe to consume Atozet 10/20mg Tablet 30s with alcohol.

Pregnancy Warning (Not Safe - High Risk)
Atozet 10/20mg Tablet 30s is unsafe to use during pregnancy. Human and animal studies have shown positive evidence of fetal risk. The risk of using Atozet 10/20mg Tablet 30s in pregnant women outweigh potential benefits.Atozet 10/20mg Tablet 30s may be unsafe to use during pregnancy. Animal studies have shown side effects on the fetus, however, there are limited human studies. The benefits from use in pregnant women may be acceptable even with the risk. Please consult your doctor.

Breastfeeding Warning (Not Advisable)
Atozet 10/20mg Tablet 30s is unsafe to use during lactation. Atozet 10/20mg Tablet 30s has relatively high molecular weight and suggesting that it is not excreted in the milk, but some excretion would be expected. Thus, women prescribed with Atozet 10/20mg Tablet 30s should not breastfeed due to potential adverse reactions of Atozet 10/20mg Tablet 30s in a nursing infant.No academic reports explaining the use of Atozet 10/20mg Tablet 30s for breastfeeding mothers have been located. However, if Atozet 10/20mg Tablet 30s is taken by breastfeeding mothers, the nursing infant should be closely monitored for any adverse reactions.

Driving Warning (Generally Safe)

Kidney Warning (Use With Care)
Atozet 10/20mg Tablet 30s should be used with caution in patients with severe kidney disease. Atozet 10/20mg Tablet 30s is mainly excreted via urine and it also can increase the serum creatinine levels. Dose adjustment of Atozet 10/20mg Tablet 30s may be needed. Liver Warning (Use With Care)
Atozet 10/20mg Tablet 30s is unlikely to be used in patients with liver disease. The use of Atozet 10/20mg Tablet 30s in patients with active liver disease is contraindicated. Please consult your doctor for more details.Atozet 10/20mg Tablet 30s is not recommended in patients with moderate and severe liver disease; Child Pugh Score > 7. Please consult your doctor.

1. What should I do when I missed a dose of Atozet?

If you have missed a dose by chance, try to consume it as soon as possible when you notice. If the time to your next dosage is close, simply skip the medicine. In such cases, try to not double the dosage. 


2. I  think I have accidentally overdosed from the prescribed quantity of Atozet. Do I need to see a doctor?

If you feel that you might have used more than the prescribed quantity of Atozet, please talk to a physician immediately as overdosage more than the prescribed quantity might lead to undesirable side-effects. 


3. Am I allowed to drink alcohol after taking Atozet?

Consumption of alcohol is not recommended with Atozet. The resulting interaction between this medication with alcohol may interfere with medication effectiveness. In any case, do not consume more than 90 mL a day.

4. Will the consumption of Atozet affect the child that I am bearing?

Usage of Atozet during pregnancy is strictly contraindicated. You’re advised to consult an obstetrician for detailed information before start consuming this drug. Pregnant women can weigh the pros and cons of the drug with the help of a doctor before it is used.


5. I am currently nursing my baby. Is it safe to use Atozet during breastfeeding or lactation?

Usage of Atozet during is strictly contraindicated during breastfeeding or lactation. You’re advised to consult an obstetrician for detailed information before start consuming this drug. Lactating mother can weigh the pros and cons of the drug with the help of a doctor before it is used.

6. What should I do if I mistakenly took an expired dose of Atozet?

Consuming an expired dose of Atozet by accident might not be harmful but do consult your physician for advice just to be safe in this matter. 


7. Can you explain on the safety of the usage of  Atozet?

Atozet is safe to use if taken in the prescribed dosage as suggested by the physician.

8. In a day, how many times should I take Atozet?

The dosage and frequency of Atozet is based on your condition. Use the drug as directed by your doctor or follow the instruction printed on the product insert.

As with all medications, you may experience some side effects. Not everyone experiences it. This is not a cause for concern. However, it is so that you are aware of it.

DoctorOnCall reserves the right to reject the request for return and/ or exchange if not notified by the Customer within one (1) day of receiving the product.
  4. The Customer will be contacted by DoctorOnCall within one (1) day of request for return and/ or exchange to inform the Customer of the return and/ or exchange process.
  5. Upon approval of the Return and/ or Exchange request, the Customer is to deliver the affected Product back to the address of the vendor as stated on the parcel received
  6. The affected Products MUST be returned in its new, unused, original condition, with quantity and packaging delivered to Customer.
  7. For rehab products, wheelchairs, electronic products, and medical devices, all products must be returned in its original packaging with cables, accessories, and documentation including manuals and warranty card intact.
  8. Failure to return the Product as described in clause 6 and 7 will result in a cancellation of the return and/ or exchange request, and any fees incurred in delivering the package back to the Customer will be borne by the Customer
  9. The return of a Product by a Customer does not automatically warrant for an exchange or refund. DoctorOnCall will inspect the returned Products upon receipt of the same. If the conditions in clause No. 6 and 7 of this Return and/ or Exchange Policy have been fulfilled, refunds/ exchanges will be made to the Customer, and the Customer will be reimbursed by DoctorOnCall for any courier charges incurred in returning of the Products. A courier payment slip is to be furnished to DoctorOnCall for the purpose of reimbursement.
  10. All replacements or exchange of Products shall be effected subject to stock availability. If a Product which was ordered and invoiced is not included in the delivery, DoctorOnCall shall either refund the Customer the value of that Product, or replace the ordered Product.
  11. If any Product which was not included in the Customer's Order is delivered to the Customer, DoctorOnCall shall collect the Product from the Customer. If a Customer is charged more than the value of a Product as displayed on the site when the Customer makes its Order, DoctorOnCall shall refund to the Customer the difference.
  12. All refunds will be made via the same mode of payment within 2 months. Customer's receipt of the refund will depend on the period of time the selected financial institution takes to finalise the refund. DoctorOnCall shall not be liable with respect to any loss, damage, cost or expense that the Customer or any person may incur as a result of any delay in the financial institution processing of the said refund.
