How To Use Twynsta 40/5mg Tablet

This medicine is for oral use only. Swallow this medication as a whole with water. Do not chew, crush or break it. It is better to take this medication at a fixed time each day if it is indicated for everyday use.

Precautionary Steps of Twynsta 40/5mg Tablet

Please consult a doctor especially before taking Twynsta . If you have any of the following conditions & contraindications:-
  • Allergy to Twynsta  or any of its components
  • It is not recommended for children & Neonates. Please keep Twynsta  out of reach from them
  • Hypersensitivity
  • Liver problem 
  • Kidney problem 
  • Heart problem 
  • Pregnancy or planned to get pregnant

  • Avoid Twynsta  from excess exposure to sunlight

Alcohol Warning( Not Advisable )
It is unsafe to consume alcohol with Twynsta 40/5mg Tablet. Taking Twynsta 40/5mg Tablet with alcohol may worsen the side effects of Twynsta 40/5mg Tablet such as headache, dizziness and visual disturbance. Furthermore, Twynsta 40/5mg Tablet is metabolised in the liver and alcohol consumption leads to a risk of liver damage.Avoid drinking alcohol. It can further lower your blood pressure and may exaggerate some of the side effects of Twynsta 40/5mg Tablet.

Pregnancy Warning (Not Safe)
Twynsta 40/5mg Tablet may be unsafe to use during pregnancy. Animal studies have shown adverse effects on the fetus, however, there are limited human studies. The benefits of using Twynsta 40/5mg Tablet among pregnant women outweigh the risks. Please consult your doctor. The use of Twynsta 40/5mg Tablet is not recommended in the first trimester and it is not allowed during the second and third trimester. It is proved that Twynsta 40/5mg Tablet will exert toxic effects on the human foetus during the second and third trimester.

Breastfeeding Warning ( Limited Data )
Twynsta 40/5mg Tablet is reported to be excreted into breast milk. However, the effect of the exposure towards the babies remains unknown. There is also stated that no side effects were reported with the exposure. Please consult your doctor for further details. There is no information available regarding the use of Twynsta 40/5mg Tablet during breast-feeding, therefore, it is not recommended. Alternative treatments with better-established safety profiles during breast-feeding are preferable.

Driving Warning ( Not Advisable )
Do not drive unless you are feeling well. Twynsta 40/5mg Tablet may cause side effects such as dizziness headache, tiredness or nausea, all of which could affect the ability to concentrate and drive.Do not drive unless you are feeling well. Kidney Warning ( Use With Care )
Twynsta 40/5mg Tablet should be used with caution in patients with severe kidney disease. Twynsta 40/5mg Tablet is mostly excreted via urine. Thus, dose adjustment of Twynsta 40/5mg Tablet may be needed. Please consult your doctor.Twynsta 40/5mg Tablet effectively and safely reduces blood pressure and brought about the regression of proteinuria in diabetic and non-diabetic, hypertensive, proteinuric patients with chronic kidney disease, even in those with mild-to-moderate chronic renal failure.

Liver Warning ( Use With Care )
The liver disease should use Twynsta 40/5mg Tablet with caution. It is extensively metabolised in the liver. Extensive use of Twynsta 40/5mg Tablet also increases the liver enzyme. Dose adjustment of Twynsta 40/5mg Tablet may be needed. Please consult your doctor. Occasional elevations of liver chemistries occurred in patients treated with Twynsta 40/5mg Tablet. Dose adjustment may be required in patients with mild to moderate liver impairment. It is contraindicated in patients with severe liver impairment.

As with all medications, you may experience some side effects. Not everyone experiences it. This is not a cause for concern. However, it is so that you are aware of it.

  5. Upon approval of the Return and/ or Exchange request, the Customer is to deliver the affected Product back to the address of the vendor as stated on the parcel received
  6. The affected Products MUST be returned in its new, unused, original condition, with quantity and packaging was delivered to Customer.
