Hovid Hovasc 10mg Tablet may be used alone or in combination with other medications. The dosage is determined by the reason for your prescription and the severity of your illness. It may be taken with or without meals at any time of day, although it is recommended to take it at the same time each day. You should take this medication for the whole time that it has been recommended for you. Do not stop taking this medication on your own, even if you are feeling well. Your condition may worsen if you stop taking it. While using this medication, follow your doctor's instructions. Headache, tiredness, nausea, stomach discomfort, and drowsiness are the most frequent adverse effects. If any of these side effects concern you or do not go away, talk to your doctor. They may be able to advise you on how to avoid or lessen the negative effects. If you have any liver, heart, or renal issues, tell your doctor before taking it. Women who are pregnant or nursing should seek medical advice before using this medication. You should also inform your doctor about any other medications you're taking, particularly those for high blood pressure or heart problems.
How To Use Hovid Actihist Syrup 60ml
This medicine is for oral use only. Shake the bottle well before use. Measure it with the measuring spoon given and take it by mouth.
As with all medications, you may experience some side effects. Not everyone experiences it. This is not a cause for concern. However, it is so that you are aware of it.

Alcohol Warning (Not Advisable)
No known side effects when used along with alcohol consumption.It is proven that Hovid Actihist Syrup 60ml with alcohol intake will increase the side effect such as dizziness, drowsiness, confusion and difficulty in concentrating. Thus, it is not advisable for you to take alcohol when prescribed with Hovid Actihist Syrup 60ml.
Pregnancy Warning (Not Safe)
Hovid Actihist Syrup 60ml may be unsafe to be used during pregnancy. Animal studies have shown adverse reactions on the fetus, however, there are limited human studies. The benefits from use in pregnant women may outweigh the risk. Please consult your doctor before consuming it.Hovid Actihist Syrup 60ml is currently not assigned to any US FDA pregnancy category.
Breastfeeding Warning (Limited Data)
Hovid Actihist Syrup 60ml can pass into breast milk. Hence, caution should be exercised when prescribing Hovid Actihist Syrup 60ml to breastfeeding mothers.Hovid Actihist Syrup 60ml are excreted in breast milk in small amount. However, there is no evidence on the effect of Hovid Actihist Syrup 60ml on breast-fed infant. Hovid Actihist Syrup 60ml is probably safe to use during lactation as most of the antihistamines are compatible to be used during breastfeeding. Please consult your doctor for more details.
Driving Warning (Not Advisable)
