Overview

Cravit 500mg Tablet is a prescription-only medicine (POM) that contains Levofloxacin 500mg. It is supplied as a tablet and is dispensed in Malaysia only against a valid prescription issued by a registered doctor.

Under Malaysian rules for prescription medicines, this page carries product, safety and handling information only. Your doctor or pharmacist will explain whether this medicine is suitable for you, the dose you should take, and how long you should take it.

On DoctorOnCall, Cravit 500mg Tablet is reviewed by a licensed doctor through an online consultation and dispensed by a registered pharmacist before delivery. Always follow the instructions on your prescription label and the package insert supplied with the product, and do not share this medicine with anyone else.

Directions for Use

Take Cravit 500mg Tablet with a full glass of water, with or without food, at about the same time each day. Avoid taking it at the same time as antacids, or supplements containing calcium, iron, zinc, or magnesium, as these can reduce absorption – space these products at least 2 hours apart from your dose. Drink plenty of fluids while taking this medicine unless your doctor advises otherwise.

Dosage

The dose and duration of Cravit 500mg Tablet depend on the type and severity of the infection being treated, typically ranging from 250mg to 750mg once daily for 7-14 days. Your doctor will determine the correct dose, frequency, and length of treatment for your specific infection, and it is important to complete the full course even if you feel better before it ends.
