Epiduo Gel

Epiduo Gel is a topical prescription medication that belongs to the retinoid and antimicrobial drug classes, combining two active ingredients: adapalene and benzoyl peroxide. It’s important to know that while you might see some skin dryness, redness, burning, or peeling, these are common effects as your skin adjusts to it.  This gel is often chosen when you’re looking for something that works on the surface and deeper layers of your skin—talk to your doctor before use.

Apply a thin layer of Epiduo Gel to clean, dry skin once a day, preferably in the evening, or as directed by your doctor.

The usual recommended dosage is applying a pea-sized amount once daily to the affected area. Always follow your healthcare provider’s instructions.

Epiduo Gel typically has a shelf life of 2 years from the manufacturing date. Always check the expiry date on the packaging before use.

Store Epiduo Gel at room temperature below 25°C. Keep away from heat, light, and moisture, and do not freeze. Keep out of reach of children.

Do not use Epiduo Gel if you have a known allergy to adapalene, benzoyl peroxide, or any other components of the product. Avoid use on broken, sunburned, or eczematous skin.

There are no significant food interactions with Epiduo Gel since it is used topically. However, avoid using other harsh skin products (such as those with alcohol, astringents, or exfoliants) at the same time unless advised by a healthcare professional.
