Overview

Hytrin 2mg Tablet contains Terazosin 2mg (as terazosin hydrochloride) and is available as a tablet. It is classified as a prescription medicine and may only be obtained with a valid prescription from a registered medical practitioner.

Only product, safety and handling information is published here. Anything beyond that is explained to you directly by your doctor or pharmacist as part of your consultation.

DoctorOnCall is a licensed online pharmacy. Orders for Hytrin 2mg Tablet are processed only after a doctor has assessed your suitability and issued a prescription, and every order is checked by a registered pharmacist before it is sent out.

Directions for Use

Take the first dose of Hytrin 2mg Tablet at bedtime to reduce the risk of dizziness or fainting from a sudden drop in blood pressure. It can be taken with or without food, at the same time each day. Rise slowly from lying or sitting, especially when starting treatment or after a dose increase.

Dosage

Hytrin 2mg Tablet is usually started at a low dose, often taken at bedtime, and your doctor may gradually increase it based on your response and tolerance. Do not increase your own dose – restarting at the low dose again may be needed if you miss several days of treatment, as the risk of low blood pressure returns.
