Overview

Iliadin 0.05% Decongestant Nasal Drops is supplied as drops, with Oxymetazoline Hydrochloride 0.05% w/v. It is supplied in a pack size of 10ml.

No prescription is required for this product, as it is a non-prescription medicine. This page is limited to product, safety and handling information.

If you would like guidance before buying, you can speak to a doctor or pharmacist through an online consultation on DoctorOnCall. Orders are dispensed by a registered pharmacist and delivered to your address.

Directions for Use

Blow your nose gently to clear it before use. Tilt your head back slightly or lie down with your head tilted backward over the edge of a bed or pillow, instil the recommended number of drops into each nostril using the dropper provided, and remain in this position for a short while so the drops spread evenly before returning to an upright position.

Dosage

Adults and children over 6 years should use 2 to 3 drops into each nostril, 2 to 3 times a day as needed, and should not exceed the maximum amount stated on the packaging. Do not use for more than 3 to 5 consecutive days without a break, as prolonged use can lead to rebound nasal congestion.

Shelf Life

Unopened, Iliadin 0.05% Decongestant Nasal Drops are generally stable for up to 24 to 36 months from the date of manufacture. Always check the expiry date on the packaging before use, and discard the bottle once opened for longer than the period stated on the label, typically around 3 to 6 months after first opening.

Storage Instructions

Store below 25°C in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Keep the cap tightly closed after each use to maintain sterility, and keep it out of the reach and sight of children.
