Overview

Pantium 40mg Tablet contains Pantoprazole 40mg (as pantoprazole sodium sesquihydrate) and is available as a tablet. It is classified as a prescription medicine and may only be obtained with a valid prescription from a registered medical practitioner.

Only product, safety and handling information is published here. Anything beyond that is explained to you directly by your doctor or pharmacist as part of your consultation.

DoctorOnCall is a licensed online pharmacy. Orders for Pantium 40mg Tablet are processed only after a doctor has assessed your suitability and issued a prescription, and every order is checked by a registered pharmacist before it is sent out.

Directions for Use

Swallow Pantium 40mg Tablet whole with a glass of water; do not chew, crush, or split the tablet, as this destroys the gastro-resistant coating that protects the medicine from stomach acid. It is usually taken before a meal, at about the same time each day, as advised by your doctor or pharmacist.

Dosage

The usual adult dose of Pantium 40mg Tablet for GERD and ulcer healing is one tablet (40mg) once daily, usually taken in the morning, though your doctor may prescribe a different dose or duration depending on your condition and response. Always take this medicine exactly as prescribed and for the full duration recommended, even if your symptoms improve earlier.
