Overview

Pantor 40mg Tablet contains Pantoprazole 40mg (as pantoprazole sodium sesquihydrate, enteric-coated) and is available as a tablet. It is classified as a prescription medicine and may only be obtained with a valid prescription from a registered medical practitioner.

Only product, safety and handling information is published here. Anything beyond that is explained to you directly by your doctor or pharmacist as part of your consultation.

DoctorOnCall is a licensed online pharmacy. Orders for Pantor 40mg Tablet are processed only after a doctor has assessed your suitability and issued a prescription, and every order is checked by a registered pharmacist before it is sent out.

Directions for Use

Take Pantor 40mg Tablet about one hour before a meal, typically before breakfast, swallowing the tablet whole with water. Do not crush or chew the tablet, as it has an enteric coating that protects the medicine from stomach acid until it reaches the small intestine.

Dosage

The usual dose of Pantor 40mg Tablet is 40mg once daily, with the exact dose and duration depending on the condition being treated – typically 4-8 weeks for GERD or ulcer healing, sometimes longer for maintenance. Your doctor will individualise the dose and duration for you.

Storage Instructions

Store below 30°C in a dry place, away from direct sunlight and out of reach of children.
