It is unsafe to consume alcohol with Trajenta Duo 2.5/500mg Tablet as there is no information regarding Trajenta Duo 2.5/500mg Tablet interactions.It is unsafe to consume alcohol with Trajenta Duo 2.5/500mg Tablet. Alcohol intoxication can increase the risk of lactic acidosis particularly in case of fasting, malnutrition or hepatic impairment.
Use of Trajenta Duo 2.5/500mg Tablet should be avoided during pregnancy. Animal studies have shown no adverse effects on the fetus, and it is not yet being studied in pregnant women.Trajenta Duo 2.5/500mg Tablet should be safe to use during pregnancy because either animal or human studies have not shown any adverse effects on the fetus, however, uncontrolled hyperglycemia in people with PCOS can increase the risk of congenital abnormalities and intrauterine death.
Breastfeeding Warning(Not Safe To Breastfeed)
A risk to nursing infant cannot be excluded as there is no information regarding the excretion in human milk. Therefore, Trajenta Duo 2.5/500mg Tablet is probably unsafe to use during lactation. Limited human studies suggest that Trajenta Duo 2.5/500mg Tablet does not represent a significant risk to the baby when used during pregnancy. In regards to limited data, please consult your doctor to decide on discontinuation of breastfeeding or Trajenta Duo 2.5/500mg Tablet.
Driving Warning (Not Advisable)
Trajenta Duo 2.5/500mg Tablet has no or negligible influence on the ability to drive. Nevertheless, patients should be alerted to the risk of low blood sugar if it is taken with sulphonylurea or insulin.Trajenta Duo 2.5/500mg Tablet usually does not affect the ability to drive. Do not drive unless you are feeling well.
Kidney Warning(High Risk)
Trajenta Duo 2.5/500mg Tablet can be used in patients with kidney disease. No dose adjustment of Trajenta Duo 2.5/500mg Tablet may be needed. Please consult your doctor.Trajenta Duo 2.5/500mg Tablet is not recommended in patients with severe kidney disease, especially in patients with creatinine clearance less than 60mL/min. Patients with severe kidney disease has high risk to get lactic acidosis. Dose adjustment of Trajenta Duo 2.5/500mg Tablet and regular check up to monitor renal function may be needed. Please consult your doctor before consumption.
Trajenta Duo 2.5/500mg Tablet can be used with caution in patients with liver disease. No dose adjustment of Trajenta Duo 2.5/500mg Tablet may be needed. Please consult your doctor.Trajenta Duo 2.5/500mg Tablet should be used with caution in patients with liver disease due to increased risk of lactic acidosis. Hence liver function test should be done before initiating Trajenta Duo 2.5/500mg Tablet. Discontinuation of Trajenta Duo 2.5/500mg Tablet may be needed if there is deterioration of liver function. Please consult your doctor.
