Overview

Clobet 0.05% Cream is supplied as a cream, with Clobetasol Propionate 0.05% w/w. It is supplied in a pack size of 10g.

No prescription is required for this product, as it is a non-prescription medicine. This page is limited to product, safety and handling information.

If you would like guidance before buying, you can speak to a doctor or pharmacist through an online consultation on DoctorOnCall. Orders are dispensed by a registered pharmacist and delivered to your address.

Directions for Use

Apply a thin layer of Clobet 0.05% Cream to the affected skin only, usually once or twice daily as directed by your doctor, rubbing it in gently until absorbed; wash your hands after application unless treating the hands, and avoid the face, groin, or underarms unless specifically instructed.

Dosage

Dose and duration are set individually by the prescribing doctor, but as a superpotent steroid, Clobet 0.05% Cream is generally used for the shortest effective period, commonly no more than 2 consecutive weeks, with a maximum weekly quantity advised to reduce the risk of skin thinning and systemic absorption.

Storage Instructions

Store Clobet 0.05% Cream below 30°C in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight, keep the tube tightly closed after use, and keep out of reach of children.

  • Skin thinning (with prolonged use)
  • Changes in skin color

Drug / Food Interactions

  • Concurrent use with other topical corticosteroids on the same site may increase the risk of skin thinning and systemic absorption
