Overview

Combigan Eye Drop is a prescription-only medicine (POM) that contains Brimonidine tartrate 0.2% and Timolol 0.5% (as timolol maleate). It is supplied as eye drops and is dispensed in Malaysia only against a valid prescription issued by a registered doctor.

Under Malaysian rules for prescription medicines, this page carries product, safety and handling information only. Your doctor or pharmacist will explain whether this medicine is suitable for you, the dose you should take, and how long you should take it.

On DoctorOnCall, Combigan Eye Drop is reviewed by a licensed doctor through an online consultation and dispensed by a registered pharmacist before delivery. Always follow the instructions on your prescription label and the package insert supplied with the product, and do not share this medicine with anyone else.

Directions for Use

Wash your hands, tilt your head back, gently pull down your lower eyelid to form a small pocket, and instil one drop of Combigan Eye Drop without letting the dropper tip touch your eye or eyelid. Close your eyes gently and press a finger against the inner corner of the eye for about 2 minutes to reduce the amount absorbed into your bloodstream, and wait at least 5 minutes before using any other eye drop.

Dosage

The usual dose of Combigan Eye Drop is one drop in the affected eye or eyes, twice daily, about 12 hours apart, though your ophthalmologist will confirm the exact schedule for your condition and monitor your eye pressure regularly to check the response to treatment.

Storage Instructions

Store below 25°C, away from direct sunlight and out of reach of children. Discard the bottle 4 weeks after first opening, even if some solution remains, as the drops may no longer be sterile.
