Pharmaniaga Loratadine 10mg Tablet is an over-the-counter, non-sedating antihistamine used to relieve the symptoms of allergic conditions such as hay fever (allergic rhinitis), including sneezing, runny or itchy nose, itchy or watery eyes, and itching associated with hives (urticaria) or other allergic skin reactions. It is a popular choice for daily allergy relief because it is generally taken just once a day and is less likely to cause drowsiness than older antihistamines.

Loratadine works by blocking histamine, the substance the body releases during an allergic reaction that causes sneezing, itching, swelling, and a runny nose. As a second-generation antihistamine, it selectively targets histamine receptors outside the brain, which is why it typically causes less sedation, making it suitable for use during the day for adults and children within the age range stated on the packaging, without needing a doctor’s prescription for standard use.
