This page is limited to product, safety and handling information, in line with Malaysian rules on prescription medicine information for the public. Your prescriber or pharmacist is the right source for anything beyond that, together with the leaflet inside the pack.

Through DoctorOnCall, this product is supplied after an online consultation with a licensed doctor and a valid prescription, and it is checked by a registered pharmacist before dispensing. Take it exactly as prescribed, and speak to your doctor before stopping, changing the dose, or starting any other medicine alongside it.

Directions for Use

Take Janumet 50/1000mg Tablet with meals (usually morning and evening) to reduce the stomach-related side effects associated with metformin. Swallow the tablet whole with a glass of water; do not crush or chew it. Continue your prescribed diet and exercise plan alongside this medicine.

Dosage

Janumet 50/1000mg Tablet is usually taken twice daily with meals, at a dose determined by your doctor based on your current diabetes treatment, blood sugar control, and kidney function. Do not adjust your dose without consulting your doctor, as both underdosing and overdosing can affect your blood sugar control.
