Ceretam 20% Solution is a medication that may be taken with or without meals. To keep a constant level in the blood, it is recommended that you take this medication at the same time each day. If you forget to take a dosage, do so as soon as you recall. Even if you feel better, do not miss any doses and complete the whole course of therapy. This drug should not be discontinued without seeing your doctor, since it may cause twitching or jerking movements, as well as a recurrence of the illness.
For oral use only. Make sure to check the label for directions before using the medication. Shake well before using. Measure it with a measuring spoon given and take It by mouth.
As with all medications, you may experience some side effects. Not everyone experiences it. This is not a cause for concern. However, it is so that you are aware of it.
Because alcohol decreases the brain oxygen, it works in opposite of the medication Ceretam 20% Solution 120ml. Taking Ceretam 20% Solution 120ml with alcohol may have cancelling effect therefore deemed useless.
Pregnancy Warning (Limited Data)
Although there is no data available on the effect of Ceretam 20% Solution 120ml on pregnant women, Ceretam 20% Solution 120ml is found to be able to cross the placental barrier. Therefore, it is contraindicated in pregnancy.
Breastfeeding Warning (Not Advisable)
Ceretam 20% Solution 120ml is contraindicated in breastfeeding mothers because it is found to be excreted in the mother's milk.
Driving Warning (Not Advisable)
Do not drive unless you are feeling well. Ceretam 20% Solution 120ml may cause side effects such as drowsiness and nervousness, all of which could affect your ability to concentrate and drive.
Kidney Warning (Use With Care)
Ceretam 20% Solution 120ml can be used with caution in patients with mild to moderate kidney disease. Dose adjustment of Ceretam 20% Solution 120ml may be needed. Please consult your doctor. However, it is not recommended in patients with severe kidney disease.
Liver Warning (Use With Care)
Ceretam 20% Solution 120ml can be used in patient with liver problems and dose adjustment is not needed.
Quick Tips
Ceretam 20% Solution may cause dizziness. Do not take Ceretam 20% Solution before driving or perform any activities that require attention until you know how it affects you.
Notify your doctor if you have bleeding issues or if you are on any blood thinning medication
Inform your doctor if you are pregnant, planning to conceive or breastfeeding.
While on Ceretam 20% Solution, inform your doctor if you experience any stomach pain, diarrhoea or vomiting.
Do not abruptly stop Ceretam 20% Solution without consulting the doctor.
