Are DoctorOnCall panel doctors licensed?
Yes. All DoctorOnCall panel doctors are licensed, registered with the Malaysian Medical Council (MMC), and hold valid Annual Practicing Certificates (APC). Additionally, they have at least 6 years of clinical experience.
Can I get a prescription from a Panel Doctor?
Yes. Licensed panel doctors can provide prescriptions after a consultation. You can also upload an existing prescription for review and delivery by DOC’s team.
How much does an online consultation with a Panel Doctor cost?
GP consultations start from RM24.99, while specialist consultations start from RM80. Fees cover the doctor’s assessment and possible prescription.
Are consultations private and secure?
Yes. Consultations are confidential, encrypted, and patient records are securely stored, accessible only to the doctor and authorized staff, in compliance with Malaysian privacy regulations (PDPA).
Will my insurance cover consultations with Panel Doctors?
It depends on your insurance provider. Consultations are usually paid out-of-pocket, but some insurers may reimburse teleconsultation fees. Keep your consultation receipt for possible reimbursement.
What happens after my consultation?
The doctor provides advice or a prescription if needed. Medications will be delivered directly by DoctorOnCall (DOC), and your consultation records are securely stored for future reference.
Can I get medical certificate from panel doctor?
No, DoctorOnCall panel doctors do not issue medical certificates. Consultations are for medical advice, prescriptions, and treatment recommendations only.
