Sudden high pulse rate & discomfort
Hi doctor,
I am a 33 yo female. In the past 3 years, I’ve been diagnosed with peptic ulcer (consumed meds for 1 month) & having anxiety symptoms ( no med given).
Along the years, ive always experience burning in stomach, bloated tummy, sumtime cause discomfort while breathing.
What worry me the most is that sometimes i also experienced
- sudden high pulse rate with sweats and immediately need to berak (poop)
- discomfort/tingling/aching around my left arm and jawline.
Is this normal for an ulcer patient? Should i be concern of my heart health? I feel more anxious than before whenever those symptoms attack.
Thanks in advance

Thank you for your question,
Sudden high pulse rate, sweating and tingling sensation over your jawline are not typical symptoms for gastric ulcer.
Those symptoms maybe due to:
- Panic attack
- Anxiety disorder
- Heart attack
- Hyperthyroidism
