Vaginal Infection ? STI?

Hi, i am a women in my mid 20s. For the past 3 to 4 months, ive been having vaginal itch (external) and yellow-greenish discharge. No other symptoms. However, they come and go after a few days. What could this be ? What should i do ? Please advice.
