We understand the confusion you are currently experiencing. Based on your statement, those two medication you mentioned contains pseudoephedrine as one of the ingredients used in the medications. In fact both medication do not cause drowsiness (sleepiness). However, the earlier medication can cause drowsiness as the side effect as the the other ingredient used to manufacture the medication contains triprolidine.
However, if you are planning to go for driving or work, do not take a sedative medication and consult a doctor for a non-sedative medication for your illness.
