Hello. I had an abortion last February. I enquired with the gynae when will I have my period, he said to expect my period after 2 months. 2 months after I still have not got my period yet till now. In between months of Feb till now, i have not been having sexual intercourse. But in between months, I had a severe sharp pain under my abdomen. I went to see a gp, he did some scan. Shows my uterus is intact, no ectopic, not pregnant. Maybe I got infection from abortion d&c procedure. The gp prescribed me with antibiotic Unasyn I have to consume for 5 days. Later that, I no longer feel any sharp pain under my abdomen. But my period is not here yet. My nurse friend suggested me with Norethisterone but as I read about the side effects it worries me - I may no longer can get pregnant once I consume this med. My problem now is, i still don’t get my period and I worried something wrong with me. Can I be infertile? I wish to be pregnant in the future.
