PCOS and it’s ordeals
I’ve been diagnosed with PCOS two years back and had been prescribed with Metformin and Hormone pills. My period still isn’t back to normal as of now. My gyne has given me Provera 10mg for 10 days. will this help? shall i continue to use both metformin and pills?

Usually, doctor will prescribed provera to induce a menstrual period. Meanwhile metformin has another role in PCOS to lower insulin and blood sugar level, and encourage ovulation.
You may consult with your Doctor about your medication usage because they know better about your condition. I cannot tell you which one to eat and which one to stop without further seeing investigations report.
