Greetings. Thank you for your questions.
First and foremost, we truly understand your concerns regarding your symptoms and other health problems you might be facing. Let me explain to you roughly about fish and fish oil.
Incorporating fish into diet would be very beneficial because fish is a good source of protein due to its low-fat content compare to other protein sources such as chicken and meat. It is also loaded with omega-3 fatty acids, vitamins such as D and B2 (riboflavin), calcium, phosphorus and a great source of minerals, such as iron, zinc, iodine, magnesium, and potassium.
Meanwhile, fish oil is contain limited to two types of omega-3 namely docosahexaenoic acid (DHA) and eicosapentaenoic acid (EPA). EPA plays a critical role in supporting the healthy regulation of cellular inflammation, while DHA is important for maintaining nerve cell structure and function. This makes EPA and DHA the essential building blocks for healthy cell membranes.
As conclusion, taking fish oil as food supplement to replace taking fish as diet is different. However, it wouldn’t be a problem if you want to add fish oil supplement into your diet as long as it was taken according to instruction. In regard whether can it affect your kidneys or not, I wouldn’t dare to comment on it as more questioning and investigation needed before any conclusion are made.
