Heart beat increases
I’m 64. My cholesterol level is 6.9. I’ve been taking lovastatin for about 10 years. But it causes side effects. My heartbeat becomes irregular and fast. Normally it is about 68 to 72. But this 2 to 3 years the heartbeat increase to 75 to 80. I feel uncomfortable when the heartbeat increase to 80. I’ve stop taking statin. But I still worry about the cholesterol.

Individuals who are experiencing high blood pressure or hypertension, will have the risk for getting a heart beat (Rapid Heart Beat) and this is called tachycardia. I will explain more about this below.
The heart beats rapidly or is called tachycardia, due to anxiety in the normal electric impulse that controls your heart pumping rate. Many things can cause or contribute to problems in the electrical system in the heart. This includes:
-Heart failure of heart tissue due to heart disease
