This medicine is for oral use only. Swallow this medication as a whole with water. Do not chew, crush or break it. It is better to take this medication at a fixed time each day if it is indicated for everyday use.
Before taking Plavix, please refer to the doctor's advice especially if you have any of the following illnesses. Contraindicated disease:
-Allergies to Plavix or any other of its ingredients
-Internal hemorrhage such as peptic ulcer disease or brain haemorrhage

Animal studies have failed to prove that there is a risk to the fetus and there are no adequate human studies. As no data is available, it is recommended not to use Plavix 75mg Tablet during pregnancy.
Breastfeeding Warning(Limited Data)
There is limited human data on whether Plavix 75mg Tablet is excreted in human breast milk. Animal studies demonstrated that Plavix 75mg Tablet is excreted in breast milk. It is advisable that breastfeeding is discontinued following treatment with Plavix 75mg Tablet.
Driving Warning (Safe)
Plavix 75mg Tablet usually does not affect the ability to drive. Do not drive unless you are feeling well.
Kidney Warning(Use With Care)
There is limited study on the usage of Plavix 75mg Tablet in patients with renal impairment. This, it is recommended that Plavix 75mg Tablet should be used with caution in such patients.
Liver Warning(Limited information)
There is limited experience in patients with liver disease who may have bleeding tendencies. In such a population, Plavix 75mg Tablet need to be used with caution.

Thrombotic thrombocytopenic purpura (TTP)
