Anaemia and iron deficiency

I went to see the doctor to check my blood for anaemia. I’ve given by the doctor Pre/Post Natal Vitamin & Mineral Cap. My concern is, is it okay for me to take this although I’m not pregnant and not planning to get pregnant? Thank you.

Hello and good morning. Thank you for your inquiries.

Your body uses iron to make hemoglobin (blood). Iron helps move oxygen from your lungs to the rest of your body. Taking prenatal vitamins with mineral or iron can help prevent iron-deficiency anemia, a condition that can cause extreme fatigue and other symptoms. So there is nothing to worry, just follow your doctor instruction.
