Changes in period, is it considered normal?

Hello doc! I’m a 22/F and today is my first day of period. I’ve noticed changes in my period for a while now. I used to bleed heavy on my first and second day of period before, and third would be a little heavy but towards the evening it’ll be very less already. So my period used to last for 5-6 days before, usually 5 days. But now I think since July/August, my first day of period I bleed heavy for a few hours which covers the whole pad then afternoon onwards till the next 3-4 days I bleed very little/light which barely covers the pad, it would look like a straight long line on the pad with some blood being absorbed into the pad. And nowadays my period only lasts about 4 or 5 days only with bleeding that’s very little/light. Also, this year I started working out but I wasn’t consistent until about August/September. October till now I’ve been working out consistently with a Personal Trainer. I’m not sure if by me starting to workout this year has made all these changes to my body or not. So is it considered normal to bleed lightly on the first day onwards and for my period to last 4-5 days?
