Do i have flu or covid?
I’m female aged 30. I’m having below symptoms but i’m not sure if it’s flu or should i go and test for covid:
May 1: fever (only in the morning), headache and backache
May 2: headache and backache, itch feeling in throat
May 3: headache, itch feeling in throat triggered very mild dry cough
May 4: itch feeling in throat and very mild dry cough
i’ve took the assessment test which result is very minimal. But i just want to be sure if i m ok.

We understand your concern regarding your condition especially during the pandemic. Other than that, we are unable to confirm whether you have COVID-19 infection or other medical condition as COVID-19 infection can mimics similar medical condition such as:
- Laryngitis
- Tonsilitis
- Upper respiratory tract infection
- Ear infection
We advise you to monitor your symptoms and please go to the nearest clinic or hospital if your condition gets worse. We do not know what is your current condition based on question alone. Therefore we advice you to seek medical attention.
But if you want to seek a second opinion, you may try to contact the Crisis Preparedness and Response Centre (CPRC). Other than that, do practice good hand hygiene and normalize wearing face mask in public.
