Knee pain after rope skipping

I’m a 25 y/0 female student, currently at home for online class. I am a relatively active person, I spend 30 minutes of exercise 5 days a week. Last 3 days, my left knee was in pain after quite an extreme sets of rope skipping. I googled the symptoms but couldn’t find 1 that fit. The knee only hurt when I put pressure as in walking on left foot and try to skip/jog (for now, I stop). The pain was on the outer side of the left knee. It was kind of sharp and short pain once pressure exerted but still bearable. However, it affects my walking routine around the house. I cannot slow jog as jogging performs pressure on 1 foot at a time. The pain is quite uneasy.
