Possible Migraine Ocular

My little brother is 23 and he has been having migraine due to his eye sight. He couldn’t look at the lights or he will have sever headache. He gets blurred vision whenever he looks at the lights. Is it necessary for him to see the doctor? And what advice can you give him?

Through the question and statement you gave on the above section, i completely understand your concern over this matter. For your information, there are other causes that can lead to this problem such as:

  • Migraine headaches
  • Dry eyes
  • Uveitis
  • Meningitis
  • Keratitis
  • Iritis

Migraine headaches are the most common cause of headache due light sensitivity. To diagnose which type of migraine you have, a doctor need to do a series of test and questions to identify the type of migraine you have. As ocular migraine is a rare condition, it is very unlikely to occur but it is safer to get checked.
