Vagina bleeds during intercourse

Hi. I am a mother of a 17 months old daughter. I noticed that after giving birth, ive experienced pain while having intercourse. Most of the time it is cause by vagina dryness. One time when my baby is around 7 months, i bleed during intercourse. Then it was okay for awhile. But today when i had intercourse, i bled again. And it was quite an amount of blood running down my thighs. Is it normal?
